The projects and activities of the Office are based on the thematic priorities of the 2006 CNRS strategic plan (life sciences, technology and computer sciences, nanoscience and nanomaterials, astrophysics).

    Inserm reinforces scientific relations between the United States and France by pursuing three objectives : assuring an institutional presence for French scientists in the United States, strengthening scientific collaborations and giving them an institutional backing, and developing a process for the reciprocal relay of information between France and the United States.
