Location: Genzyme Center

The French Biotechnology industry experienced tremendous growth in 2006-2007. Back in 2005, the French industry only had 4 listed companies. Today, that number has grown to 13. As of mid-september 2007, the industry is on pace to set a record in terms of investments in life science companies, with a total of 625 Euro millions invested. This context is favorable for French biotechnology companies that are now establishing activities in the US market. But it is also interesting for US companies or entrepreneurs that are looking to establish presence in France or develop alliances with French Biotech companies.
The January 24 round table will bring key experts and managers of the US and French biotechnology industry together. It will address opportunities and differences in starting and developing a company in France and in the US and will provide perspectives on the financing and market developments in the French Biotech industry.
