UniverSud Paris together with its founders University Paris-Sud, University Versailles Saint-Quentin-en Yvelines, University Evry-Val-d’Essonne, Ecole Centrale Paris, and ENS Cachan, launches the second call for applications for the European project Research-Based University Chairs of Excellence - Universities of Paris, or RBUCE-UP.
Following its first call for applications last year, the RBUCE-UP project is looking for 12 junior and 2 senior experienced talents to strengthen international relations of UniverSud Paris members, providing fellows with career opportunities, attractive compensation and research resources.
RBUCE-UP fellows will be employed for 2 years. The RBUCE-UP project also includes a welcome plan for researchers coming to France. An active collaboration with the Science Accueil Association has been established to ensure that all the needs of the Fellows during their stay are met as needed.
The RBUCE-UP Project follows the European Marie Curie actions principles and thus applies a bottom-up approach, i.e. research fields are chosen freely by applicants. All scientific disciplines are possible as long as they match the activity of a host laboratory.
Incoming mobility means to be a non-French resident in the sense of Marie Curie actions, i.e.:
Not having spent more than 12 months in France during the last 3 years preceding the closing of the call for applications to which the candidate answers (Short stays, such as holidays, are not taken into account)
French nationals living abroad are eligible as long as they meet the above criterion.
Selection will be made by peer-review, and RBUCE-UP is also seeking international scientific experts for these panels.
Deadline to register online for the second call: March 21, 2012.
Deadline to apply for the second call: March 31, 2012.
More information and the application are available on the RBUCE-UP website.
