Strengthening partnerships between universities and research organizations
Former Minister of Research François d’Aubert has completed and handed in to the current minister, Ms. Pécresse, his report on the new partnership between establishments of higher education and research organizations.
The committee headed by François d’Aubert was aimed at evaluating the strengthening of and necessary changes to these partnerships. They are focusing on the evolution of work conditions for joint research units (U.M.R.)
Minister Pécresse has maintained two main paths on which she will hear opinions. For one part, they are focused on balancing the partnerships between universities and organizations, and, for the rest, strongly simplifying the rules of regulation to give researchers back their research time.
