The Office of Science and Technology has invited two US experts to the international conference on "Tackling climate change: the contribution of forest scientific knowledge" in Tours, France from May 21-24.
Dr. Linda Joyce, of the US Forest Service, will address the plenary on impacts, mitigation and adaptation strategies. Dr. Al Sample, President of the Pinchot Institute (Forest centered Think Tank), will chair a panel on the interactions between stakeholders.
