The French-American Innovation Day (FAID), organized since 2001 by the Office for Science and Technology (OST) of the Embassy of France in the United States is an annual event held in the Boston area that brings together the most prominent French and American experts to discuss innovation on specific topics, in order to:

- Promote the excellence of American and French research institutions or companies working in the field of innovation;
- Foster connections between science, technology and industry representatives from both countries.

Each year, following the publication of a call for proposals, a French partner and the OST select the topic of the next FAID. Previous FAIDs focused on Energy Storage, Water Management, Translational Research and Alzheimer’s Disease.

As of 2016, FAID has also been expanded to the Houston area.
