From last October 19th to the 23rd, the Office for Science and Technology at the Consulate General of France in San Francisco welcomed 5 innovative French start-ups, candidates from the Netva Program’s 6th edition, for a week of immersion in the Bay Area.
The NEw Technology Venture Accelerator (NETVA) aims at building the global leadership of the French High-Tech Start-ups through an intensive entrepreneurial training and business development week in Massachussets (Boston), Silicon Valley (San Francisco), or Greater Washington (Washington, DC).
NETVA is supported by a group of trustful partners highly integrated in the French and American Entrepreneurial ecosystems: the Institute for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization at Boston University (ITEC), RETIS Innovation (The French network for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, RETIS-> www.retis-innovation.fr]), the Massachussets Office for International Trade and Investment (MOITI), the French American Chamber of Commerce in Boston (FACCNE).

This event will bring together french entrepreneurs from the NETVA program and entrepreneurs from MassChallenge to face off with their elevator and longer pitches, an opportunity for both groups to improve their skills in front of their peers and develop a growing network across the Atlantic.

NETVA 2015 : 18 High-Tech French Startups heading to North America !
Discover the laureates of the sixth edition of NETVA! The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and its partners have selected 18 companies to take part in the 2015 edition of NETVA which offers a personalized support program to the directors of these creative French startups to familiarize them with the North American markets.
NETVA Seminar: A training day in France to understand the American market for higher technology!
Organized by the Technology and Science Division for the French Embassy in the United States and Canada, the NETVA seminar provides a day dedicated to the development of overseas opportunities and necessary tools to break into the North American market. American and Canada entrepreneurs and development specialists will be present to give testimonies and discuss their experiences.

2013 Netva alumni Calixar raises €1 Million
Lyon, February 23, 2015 – Calixar, the French biotech company specialized in the native isolation of complex therapeutic targets and antigens,and NETVA 2013 Alumni announced the completion of its second round of financing with its historical investors - Siparex, Veymont Participations, INPG Entreprise SA, and regional business angels (Health-Angels Rhône-Alpes, Savoie Angels and Grenoble Angels). Moreover, Bpifrance (French public investment bank) and the Banque Populaire supplemented this funding through repayable advance and specific credit (Innov & Plus) supported by the European Union.
