A series of scientific talks in French or in English, organized by scientific attachés around the United States. These events are free and open to the public.

  • Science Cafés in Boston

    The OST section in Boston, in partnership with the New England French-American Chamber of Commerce, Hubtech21, and the Swiss consulate in Boston, organizes monthly science cafés with scientists and entrepreneurs located in the Boston area.

  • Science Cafés in Los Angeles

    The "Café des Sciences" is a series of scientific conferences given in French, organized by the Office for Science and Technology in Los Angeles. Each event is an opportunity for the French, Francophone and Francophile communities to meet with a French scientist working in the USA and to learn more about his or her research interests. The talk is always followed by an informal discussion and a cocktail reception. These events are free of charge and open to the public. They are an excellent opportunity to meet new people and to learn about science around a coffee or a glass of wine. Presentations are held in French.

  • Science Cafés in Atlanta

    European consulates in Atlanta, in partnership with the "Atlanta Science Tavern" organize regular scientific cafés. European consulate invites a scientist from their country to present a scientific subject, followed by a networking session after the presentation.
