21st International Symposium on Nonlinear Acoustics (ISNA) in Santa Fe, New Mexico

The Scientific Office of the Embassy of France is a partner of this symposium, which has already been held on two occasions in France. The local organizing committee consists of researchers from the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Nonlinear acoustics is an important field of research in France and the United States, and has multiple applications, for example in the non-destructive testing of materials or medical ultrasounds.
Two of the keynote lectures will be given by French researchers: Florent Brenguier (University Grenoble Alpes ISTerre), and Sebastien Guenneau (Institut Fresnel, Marseille). Vincent Tournat (University of Le Mans) will co-host a special session.
