The Institut NeuroMyoGène (INMG) is opening junior and senior group leader positions in Lyon, France. INMG is a recently established institute hosting 14 research groups and 200 persons using a variety of invertebrate and vertebrate model systems to conduct multidisciplinary research from genes to physiological functions. The main research topics of the Institute are dedicated to the understanding of the cell biology of striated muscles and of the nervous system, from development to aging under normal and pathological conditions.

Lab space will be available in 2019 to recruit research groups. Candidates should have an excellent track record and meet the criteria to compete for national and international funding as well as for CNRS or Inserm research positions. Newly recruited group leaders will benefit from a stimulating research environment and comfortable laboratory space. Start-up packages will be discussed on an individual basis.
