You may have heard many stories and many opinions about the emerging epidemic of food allergies. Here is your opportunity to hear a brief presentation and then have a question and answer session with two professionals who have been active in the food allergy community for years. Exactly what are food allergies? Why do some food allergic people seem to need more protection than others? What can you do to order safely in a restaurant if you have a food allergy?
To answer these questions, A la Carte and the Office for Science and Technology in Chicago invite you at a free lecture given by Pr. Christine Szychlinski and Chef Dominique Tougne. This lecture will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
When: Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 3pm
Where: Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago - Family Practice Conference Room (225 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611 - 11th floor)
Free lecture for a general audience
Christine and Dominque look forward to responding to these questions and more!
