MIT-France Seed Fund: 2018-2019 Call for Proposals

The 2018-2019 call for proposals of the MIT-France Seed Fund is now open until September 17, 2018. This two-million endowment fund, created by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and MIT, aims to foster collaboration between French and MIT researchers.

Each selected French-American project will receive up to $30,000. Applications are accepted in all fields. Proposals must be jointly submitted by MIT researchers and scientists working in a French university or research institute.

Priority will be given to projects that propose a balanced exchange between the MIT and French participants and demonstrate complementarity between the MIT and French teams.

Dates:

  • Submission deadline: September 17, 2018
  • Announcement of the selected projects: January 2019
  • Funds availability for use: January 2019 – August 2020
