Signature of Two Agreements for Dual PhD Degree Programs

On December 8, 2015, two agreements for dual PhD degree programs were signed by the University of Houston (USA) and the University of Poitiers (France) at the Consulate of France in Houston, in the presence of the Consul General of France, Sujiro Seam.

These two agreements open a new era of scientific cooperation between these two higher education and research institutions, and in particular, between the Pprime Institute of the University of Poitiers (UP) and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Houston (UH).

The agreements were signed by Prof. Suresh Khator, Associate Dean of the College of Engineering (UH), Prof. Ken White, Department of Mechanical Engineering (UH), Prof. Ludovic Thilly, Vice-President of UP and Researcher at the Pprime Institute as well as by the the two students involved in the dual degree programs, Matthieu Aumand and Jean-Baptiste Giouse.
