Smart Loire Valley Program : LE STUDIUM annual call for proposals

LE STUDIUM offers 12-month fellowships for experienced international researchers through its Smart Loire Valley Program. The call for proposals opened on November 6, 2018 and will close on February 7, 2019.

Founded in 1996, LE STUDIUM (Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies) aims at facilitating international exchange among public and private laboratories in the Centre-Val de Loire region, France, in order to increase research capacity, enhance scientific excellence, and promote mobility and career development of researchers.

As part of its Smart Loire Valley Program, LE STUDIUM offer 12-month fellowships (Fellowships, Professorships, Visiting Researchers) to international researchers who have at least 5 years of post-doctoral experience. This program is co-funded by the European Union through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie initiative.

This program is open to researchers in all disciplines. Selected researchers will be in full time residence in a laboratory of the Centre-Val de Loire region, such as at the University of Orleans, the University of Tours, Centre Val de Loire National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), Orléans Graduate School of Art and Design (ESAD), Val de Loire National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA), the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm), the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture (IRSTEA), the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), the Geological and Mining Research Bureau…

The awards fund the researchers’ salary and include a fully furnished accommodation, as well as resources to organize an international scientific event.

The call for proposals is available on LE STUDIUM website. The call opened on November 6, 2018 and will close on February 7, 2019 at 5:00 PM local time (Paris time).
