Visit of Mr. Alain Fuchs, president of the CNRS, to Los Angeles

Mr. Alain Fuchs, president of the CNRS and Patrice Bourdelais, director of the INSHS (Institute of Human and Social Sciences) of the CNRS , visited Southern California on October 30th and 31st, 2014. They launched the Joint International Unit, CNRS EpiDaPo, in the presence of numerous personalities from UCLA, and Mr. Axel Cruau, Consul General of France in Los Angeles, Ms. Minh-Hà Pham, Counselor for Science and Technology at the Embassy of France in the United States, Mr. Xavier Morise, Director of the CNRS office in North America, and Mr. Fabien Agenes, Scientific Attaché at the Consulate of Los Angeles (see article).

At the invitation of Pr. Ioanna Kakoulli, the French delegation then visited the Getty Villa for a visit of the heritage preservation laboratories of the UCLA / Getty Archaeological and Ethnographic Conservation Program.
