Visit of the Consul General of France in Los Angeles and the Space Counselor to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory

The Consul General of France in Los Angeles, Mr. Christophe Lemoine, was accompanied by Mr. Norbert Paluch, counselor for space and CNES representative, and Mr. Fabien Agenes, attaché for Science and Technology at the French Consulate in Los Angeles, in a visit to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) on Thursday, December 17, 2015.

On this occasion, he met Charles Elachi and Larry James, director and vice-director of JPL, respectively. Together, they went over the numerous collaborations between CNES and JPL, a center specialized in space exploration. They particularly paid attention to the JASON-3 mission, which is planned to launch on January 17, 2016 at the Vandenberg Air Force Base located in the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles French Consulate.
